Dr. Meyer, a member of the first graduating class from the LSU School of Veterinary Medicine, opened Crowley Veterinary Hospital in May of 1977. From his perspective of 36 years as a practicing small animal veterinarian, Dr. Meyer says he enjoys practice today even more than he did as a new graduate. "With the advances in knowledge and technology, we can do more to help our patients today than ever before. It is very satisfying to be in a profession which helps our pets live longer and healthier lives."
Dr McGee is a 2006 graduate of the LSU veterinary school. She has been on the staff of CVH for five years and enjoys small animal practice in Acadia Parish. Dr. McGee has special interests in surgery and dermatology. Dr. McGee, her husband Louis, and their six children reside in Eunice, LA.
Dr. Lindsey Frugé is now co-owner of CVH with Dr. Don Meyer. A native to south Louisiana and an LSU SVM graduate, Dr. Frugé has special interests in internal medicine and cardiology. She has recently attended several continuing education seminars on ultrasonography, and, with the purchase of a state-of-the-art ultrasound machine, can now readily offer this service to patients.
Dr. Frugé lives in Rayne with her husband Adam, their sons Eli and AJ, and two spoiled rotten dogs, Pippa and Kate.
